New BM3 OTS Maps

Looks like PTF pushed out an update to all their N55 OTS maps. Finally including the 6MT load drop lag between shifts. Having helped test this I can 100% say the lag is gone and its awesome.

I tried to force my current OTS map to update but it doesn't seem to want to pull in the latest version that method. Do I have to go back to the main OTS page and re-request it?

Cool! It's available in my BM3 account, version 5.9

This is the changelog:
- Improved Drivability
- 6MT gearshift load drop fix
- Changes to AFR at redline
- Load changes at high air temperature.

I don't have the chance to try this short term, since the car is currently in Winter storage.
I'm curious when/if PTF releases some more information about this.

Same question here.... I bought BM3 and just chose 1 OTS map (V5.8), when I check this map inside "My Maps", it said there is no update.

Now even I removed the V5.8 from "My Maps" and try to get the V5.9 still failed. Now I have no tuned maps.....

Of course it is an OTS map. Suppose I should be able to get my V5.8 inside "My Maps" updated to V5.9. But it said there is no update.

Which version popped up in your my maps? Stage 1 93 doesn't want to show the update in my account.

i've been waiting for the official thread that Halim normally creates to post my thoughts but having been on it for a few weeks now I can say it is much smoother to shift and drive on local roads now.

as we all know shifting from 1-2 is typically harsh and not smooth but now it's sooooo much better

You think that's weird ? I just check as well for an update and realized that I'm on V5.7, even thou I purchased and installed the app and map just 4 months ago! The V5.8 was out by 2018 but I don't have an update even for that and that's the only tune (5.7) I'v had available
But when I look at "OTS maps" I do see an stage 1 93 octane v5.9.

Edit:
Just sent an email to to BM3 support page, they answered in 2 minutes and gave me the new map. Gotta say amazing service.

I also got the V5.9 map after a few emails with BM3 guys. Excellent support!

It seems for whatever reason it's not auto updating. I emailed last night and this morning, they took care of the issue within 30 minutes. Can't wait to test the load drop fix on the manual!

v5.9 definitely results in a smoother idle on my 6MT (S2, 93, FBO); haven't had a chance to wring it out and see how the load drop fix has improved things there

This statement reminds me of every automotive journalist in the world. They don't tell you any of the bad things until the new thing comes out that fixes it, then they're all like "this fixes that annoying ________ that the previous car had." But looking back at their reviews, there was nary a word said about it. lol

changes to idle might just be because adaptations are reset with every tune flash.

to be honest, a fresh flash always brings about great throttle response, regardless of tune, but after a week or so, it gets laggy again. so i'm interested in longer term reviews if the drivability is actually improved.

I bought my car with BM3 already flashed, and didn't have a stock N55 for reference. Mechanic said it was perfect normal for the N55 to run a little less than perfectly smooth (especially compared to the V8 in my RS4). Logs never showed any issue. New plugs didn't change anything. So I had no reason to believe it wasn't running perfectly normally before.

I flashed mine with no problem.
Haven't logged yet. But definitely noticed a difference on all modes. Especially sport.
Sport display shows increase in tq and hp too
