Came across this video - pretty cool they managed to get a whole bunch of M2s together with a range of exhaust mods. Mostly N55s here but a few M2Cs thrown in as well.
Shame they didn't have a better microphone on the day!

Nice find! The Remus sounds the best for my money but that may be because they did indeed get my money lol

Pretty cool comparison to see all at once on the same capture set up so that we can truly hear the differences in sound. Happy with my Remus

That poor M2C sounds terrible next to the M2's.

Call me crazy, but I still like the stock exhaust with a sport cat the most. Altho, of all the aftermarket options, the Remus does sound the best, IMO.

Probably not the video that the M2C owners want to see

The stock exhaust definitely holds it's own in the vid!

If you mean all 2018 M2s then yes.

If you're expanding the LCI to the M2C the no, the two have different, separate MP exhausts

I meant all N55 engine M2's cars.
I recently bought an M Performance exhaust second hand and needed the clamp so went to my local dealer. The dealer advised me the M performance exhaust was not available for my car on their system and hence would not be compatible and would also invalidate my warranty? This was the first I have heard of any incompatibility and thought the whole point of M performance parts were that they were warranty approved.

Remus has always been the one I wanted, but that MPE + Sport Cat sounds awesome.

All I know is something fucky went on with you guys over in Europe and regulations so it might be why it's no longer "available" in the system for you.

Actually, about the white car with the stripes, he first says it's an MPE with a sporty cat, then later he says it has cat mods with his hand over his mouth, like it's actually cat-less. Sounds cat-less to me. Wonder which it is.

That's really strange. I would definitely get that cross checked with another dealer!

Mine too, but I would really have loved to hear the FI exhaust in there.

I was a bit surprised that the Remus sounded more aggressive than the MPE in the video! Thought it was more the other way around?

Remus definitely sounds "bassier" than the MPE (which I liked, and got it over the MPE for that reason).

from other videos i've seen, sport cat + remus is the most exotic and refined sound
sport cat + mpe is probably best bang for the buck since valves closed it isnt too bad, and open its very raw!
i only have fabspeed sport cat right now and its great. but i would like a bit more up top.

Agreed on this. MPE has great flexibility with valves opened or closed. Essentially 8 different exhaust modes with MPE. I guess that's the same with the Remus if paired with the CG precision valve controller.
