yep seen it way too many times before for sure.

I purposely only go for LCI. Did it with the E36 3 series, 1st gen Mini Cooper S, last gen 5 series, E46 M3, E92, and last gen X5. If pre-LCI looked better in the past I would've gotten one but never happened to me.

LCI usually carries the design language for the new upcoming generation so it's a nice transition to the new era while staying classic. I think BMW does it on purpose to keep all of their cars classic through years.

Exactly. Owners that have had their M2s even before it was "announced" should have nothing to worry about. The car still drives the same, looks the same.

I went with the MY18 just because I did not need the car immediately and I had an additional month of time to wait for it. Now it's going to be delivered in a weeks time and I cannot wait! Cannot wait to meet other little beasts on the road as well!

Do we have any indication on the materials themselves? Some early 2er materials suggested different dash materials. I doubt it but just asking.

Everyone hating in the lci is just funny. You can't really tell me that visually the dash isn't a huge step up.

Lol, yeah I'm telling you. That is entirely subjective.

LCI looks good, though. Obviously love the gauges from the photos so far. Tails and headlights are a push from my point of view. Dash is whatever. You guys are going to love your cars. Even mundane trips are a ton of fun!

Are these headlights LED? I see the glass globe in the middle which looks like HID? Hey look great, I wish my 2017 330i had these headlights.

The tail lights look a bit less bulky than before. Overall an improvement, but not my much.

Huh?

I own a pre-LCI M2 and without going out to the garage to do a compare with these picture I wouldn't even know what the differences are. Just drive...

Summary for those that don't want to read through 5 pages.

Pre-LCI Owners - OMG. Nothing worth upgrading. I do like (insert small thing here) but absolutely hate the taillights. If anything is worthy of an upgrade it's probably to the CS (so LCI owners can feel the way that we do right now).

LCI deposit holders - OMG. Totally worth the upgrade. Glad I waited.

My opinion. Changes aren't noticeable unless you're an enthusiast.

Lol - exactly. Confirmation bias is not an attractive trait.

I agree that most people wouldn't notice. They look very similar unless you know exactly what to look for. Having a MY18 for prior owners would mean having to wait rather than have the car they been driving. I feel like headlights are pretty far down the list of important things for most people. Perhaps the interior seems a lot nicer but hard to know without sitting in it.

Well this forum is definitely enthusiasts exclusively. So personally the least talked about aspect to me which is the interior dash geometry is the biggest improvement and obviously gauges that are legible in direct sunlight is always nice.

Frankly LCI always is an improvement. If you feel that much better about your pre LCI; I think that is awesome. But I do find it bizarre that people feel the need to stop their feet and declare that in an LCI thread....

Where did you find this?
I prefer the LCI parts over my current ones, especially the rear lights and the cluster.

Same guys discovered to offer rear light retrofit

I contacted them through e-mail a few weeks back enquiring about the cluster. Came back to me the other day stating "The retrofit of the new cluster is 849€"

They've got various locations, a few close by to Holland

Does any one know is HUD going to be on MY19 option? I got a WK37 build LCI allocation, shall I wait for MY19?

LMAO!!!

A year from now, us pre-MY19ers will say the new options or any minor change are not worth it....
