Hey guys,
I’ve tried using launch control a couple times but I can’t get it to work and I’m hoping someone can point out what I’m doing wrong. I wait for the car to be fully warmed up, deactivate DSC completely, put it in manual mode in first gear, hold down the brake and fully press the accelerator. Theoretically this should activate launch control but nothing really happens. Revs don’t go above 1k, no checkered flag, no adjusting launch rev with cruise control. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you verified your process with the owners manual?

Try pressing the brake harder. On my 21 you need to step on the brake so hard that its stupid. I have not been impressed with the traction control anyways. You can be quicker without it.

Left food HARD on the brake.
Right food hard on the gas and make sure you're holding it past the kickdown point (you'll feel a little click as the pedal hits the floor).
Launch control comes up.
Adjust with cruise control.
Left foot off.
Go.

Yup I think this was it! I finally got it to work last night and you were absolutely correct; you need to press the brake pedal stupid hard

And by the time you finally get it to work the car next to you is already down to the next stoplight😁

You’re not wrong…

IMO… LC is for people who can’t actually launch properly on their own… 💨
