Bad pic inside my shop with it currently hideous interior (in the process of being overhauled...) - but just love this color so much had to share a pic of it on delivery day. HS was a no brainer for me. Got a ton of goodies on the way but need to get a stock baseline at a couple of tracks first before the real fun begins

This is incorrect, as per current online 'build your own' pages. I was there already checking on the X5M, which also looks like HS in that CCA promo shot on pg94. None of the M8 variants offered in this. They do have a light grey that might impersonate it sometimes, but AFAIK it remains an M2 specific car color, shared only w/ the motorcycles. Not that it really matters or anything - let's just say I had other topics competing for my time that were just soul-sucking paperwork.

I saw this on BMW’s M site. Did they cancel it as a paint option?

Your link is just a dark photo - looks more like a frozen grey to my eye, but HS photographs as about 6 different tints depending upon lighting. Post up a link to the actual article if you want. Might be you can get it that color w/ the personalized paint option?

Can confirm, the USA M8 build configurator does NOT have HS as a menu option color choice.They do have 3 other grey choices available like Donington, Brands Hatch, and Dravit. Granted, I also did not see the "personalized paint option" choice either under any of the menus.

They intentionally left out that it's likely an Individual color on that M8.

My first official picture in this thread and I could not be happier with the color choice. Only had the car for a few days but the combo of the color and the naturally beautiful lines makes this one truly special car to gawk over

Looks great, what % of window tint you got? I was thinking about getting tinted, or not, haha can't make up my mind. Looks good though!

Thanks! It actually looks a bit darker in the pic vs reality. I am not sure of the exact %...I asked for darkest legal limit in Texas for front windows (25%?), and one shade darker for rear windows.

I got mines from the same place and I got so lucky because I only waited for a month to get the car. They had it coming and nobody had their name on it. Your car looks great, enjoy it.

Which lip spoiler is this? looks so clean! I'm on the fence about leaving mine stock or going with a spoiler that's minimalist and not too aggressive (M Performance is the biggest I'd do)

Pretty sure it's M Perf. Looks smaller due to photo angle. Having seen the CS spoiler in person on a car, I would suggest you get the CS spoiler. It looks better live than in pics, in my opinion.

That's the M Performance spoiler, I also did the MP diffuser. I'm with you - I didn't want anything too wild, this fits the bill perfectly for me. I didn't order the diffuser at first but added it to the build a couple of days later. VERY glad I did.

Not the best pic but wanted to show off the amazing gloss of the HS paint after a ceramic coating. It looked good when I applied it, but overnight it cured amazingly well and I was blown away at how glossy it looks now.
