my car has gone missing. dispatched from factory on 11/10 and - still - as of today Genius says its status is Dispatched from Factory. Should have been at port in a couple of days. Its now day 9 of this dispatch. Hope its just a lack of a tracking update. Genius did tell me that it is not on a ship. Anyone else have this weird delay ?

Similar situation here. My status went to "Dispatched from Factory" on 11/11. I called genius yesterday hoping to hear it was on board the west coast bound Jupiter Dream, and was told there is no new information visible to them. No idea where it is. Others have had theirs sit at the port for a long time waiting on a boat.

Same scenario. Been 'dispatched from factory' for over a week. Genius told me that it is waiting to be assigned to a ship as of yesterday.

Just FYI, my car was in "Dispatched from Factory" status for 22 days... so you guys still might have some wait ahead of you before it's moved to "At the Port".

Yes, same thing for me. Went from '190 Dispatched from AG' on 11/3 to '193 Arrival at port or compound' on 11/17.

Yeah I'm dying!! This will be my first BMW and aside from a test drive about a year ago I have been semi-patiently waiting After my kids were born it was all minivans, trucks etc. This will be the first thing I have bought for myself that wasn't an investment in probably twenty years. More importantly the first thing I have bought for myself since I opened my company 7 years ago. All money was reinvested to grow the company.. This is a symbol of everything I've worked for (13 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year for 7+ years)

Actually black and red are company colors and my dog and business name is Lucy's. I even considered LuCS as a license plate but decided against it.. sorry for boring you all with my story!

Thought it was odd to see my VIN already when I popped into Track My BMW
Called in to BMWNA and they said my vehicle entered production today (Nov 19, Week 47)!

Anyone's guess whether I will see the car in 2020 or 2021 though!

I'm thinking they are moving fast because production end is next month, December 2020. I don't think they will be building anymore once January 2021 is here.

Loved your story my friend. I too run my own business and know exactly the kind of sacrifices you're talking about.

With the exception that this will be my third bimmer, we're pretty much on the same boat.

Mine was manufactured second week of October but won't arrive in Australia till Dec 27th. Australian COVID-19 and road regulations will add another 4 to 6 weeks. Then the injectors have to be fixed or replaced according to the recall.

By the time I finally see SONIC, it'll be Easter probably

Any other US customers have a similar notice on my bmw?..
we may be ship mates!!
Any idea if Cepheus leader is the container ship for US?
My CA wasn't available to check and I'm crazy anxious now..

Yes, mine is on the same ship! Google vessel tracking and you can find it's current location. It is scheduled to be in South Hampton UK tomorrow afternoon.

If you look at my dates list it makes me think that there was an issue (injector recall) which has slowed your cars way down OR and I'm rooting for you guys on this one.. I think all of a sudden all these cars that have been in limbo will just show up at dealerships..
