Yes but still no oil gauge, no suspension, throttle, etc adjustments, still has the ugly ass seats, no colored interior other than black, no individual allowed, no carbon roof, no m mirrors and i can keep going

We don't know for sure that all of those things are true yet. I've been through all the German translations of the 2-Series and LCI releases posted today and none of those things are mentioned, which means (fingers crossed) some of them may still happen. Interestingly, the materials included all the specs for every flavor of 2-series cabrio and coupe available - but there were no details on the M2.

Also, all the photos for the M2 are dated 11.05.2017 (today), but the line underneath each one, roughly translated, says, “The new BMW M2 Coupé (05/2015).” That just might tell you something about the extent of the upgrades.

We (MY16 and MY17 owners) need to somehow get this retrofitted. BMW seems to have acknowledged this issue by this LCI...
