Will individual colors be available? The 4 standard ones are pretty weak.
A wheel swap typically runs <$10,000

...just saying...

Hope that's a joke.

As has been well-covered before, there will be no Individual offered on the M2.

Seeing as how it lists carbon interior as standard on the option sheet, I would assume a carbon roof would be similarly listed as a standard or optional feature. It's such a prominent feature on the other M cars... If it was listed, I would bet that's something OP would have remembered. If it wasn't listed, probably means it isn't going to be there.

Will reserve judgement I suppose until I see them in person on an M2 or at least high quality photos, but they look terrible on the M3/4.

It's looking like the better option at this point but we'll see what the official USA spec turns out to be. Can always sell my place in the m2 line

Why would they not offer front parking sensors? That's just dumb, for me the front is the hardest part to judge and I can't think of another BMW that doesn't offer pdc front and rear, they should come as standard

The e92 M3 didn't have front sensors iirc. I know the 1M was rear only as well. Must be the shape of the front bumper.

I'm pretty sure I saw a sunroof on the spy pics of the white car that popped up recently. I'm OK with that because I'm one of those weirdos who would order a M4 with a sunroof.

SMH...
Just go and get the F80, or did you mean the F82? Because the M2 is a coupe and the F80 is a sedan. And, it has already been stated numerous times, the Leipzig plant is not equipped to do Individual.

So, just go get "that other model"...

Maybe they were just granted permission recently?

I indeed meant the F80.

Can you point to a link where BMW stated no individual?

Wow, you will buy a different car rather than do a wheel swap (and you can recoup some cost by selling the OE wheels)? Anyway, I'd be surprised if there isn't an 18 inch standard wheel (possbily in silver) ala the F80/2/3. (Just realized that I can't use F8X to imply M3/4 any longer given the M2 is an F87.)

Black wheels. So 2012.

I will be stripping those into silver or dark silver. Ridiculous to not have a color choice beyond black.

Hmm....
It really does look like BMW is copying what they did with the 1M. That car also only available with the 19s. But the 18s will also fit if you can find someone to trade with you.

I don't typically like black wheels, but the ones on the M3/4 are more like a really dark gunmetal, so I don't even mind. I think it'll look great on the M2 now, whereas I was never a fan of the silver 19s.

I'll most likely end up going aftermarket anyway.

Who knows maybe not if that ends up being the only problem with the final design and options list.

Anyone else disappointed with no front parking sensors. I literally use them every day...

Great little feature imo...

Just trade the black for silver here or have them powder coated.
