The moment you realize that the i8 seat belts would look right at home in the M2 interior. Yup, added to my mod list:

So even the blue thread is from the parts bin - That's dedication. We can now tell everyone "yeah the seats are from the 2er, but the thread is i8 thread!".

All my M's are mutts on way or another anyway. I got Z3M S54 parts in my E36 M3, I even have E36 M3 parts in my E92 M3.

All I care about is the end result. Same applies for the M2

I'm not sure if M235 seats in an M2 is a deal breaker for me yet.

LOL at this.. Seats... a deal breaker... Just go ahead and get an M4!

That's like saying wheels are a deal breaker.... all it takes is 4 bolts and unplug a connector to remove the seats...

Certainly! I saw an i8 at the PC and the light bulb went off. It'll really brighten up the interior.

If the blue stitching will pop just as much as it does in the i8 it will be a nice touch.

Slow day? ...arguing with a post almost 20 days old. I don't think it's a very good idea to drive around with your seats unbolted and unplugged, or worse, drive around without seats.

Considering they are built in the same plant with potentially the same supplier, I wouldn't be remotely surprised if they are even the stitching material. I think that would really brighten up the interior considering the seat will be mostly black and the trims will be CF.

Arguing... ? not at all..! Poking fun at...? . sorry.. but YES!

and it is the first slow moment in the last 2 weeks actually!

Finally.. Keep in mind that it's no fun driving around with no wheels either.. riding on the rotors doesn't get much traction

This thread needs some entertainment: Porsche can get the 'no dedicated seats' and 'no wing' dissappointed some consolation.

Looks like it'll be Laguna Seca stitching.

Agree. And wouldn't it be great if the blue seat stitching matches the stitching and stripe on the M Performance (non-electronic) steering wheel?

Not a deal-breaker if it doesn't match. Will get the M Performance wheel either way.
