Just imagine if the timing were such that you were selling an existing car upon getting your M3/4 - that would be a nightmare! I am sure BMW would have no problem extending an existing lease for folks staying in the brand, but that obviously wouldn't be the case for everyone.

I would be going nuts...

Hello folks, I've been lurking around here for a long time (years) but all this M2 business has me very intrigued. This is my first post here but I am a member of other forums. I'll take this opportunity to say thank you to all those that regularly contribute to the M2 discussions, and I'll say with certainty that I'm every bit as excited as all of you are. Like many of you I'm on the fence about getting on a dealer's list. Until some more info surfaces, I'll be a part of these discussions. Looking forward to it!

I was in your situation not too long ago! I visit 2addicts multiple times a day. People on here are awesome and informative. And the info given out on here by the mods is better than other 3rd party sources. Welcome! Glad to have you. It's a lot of fun.

I was just wondering, with all these recent spy shots taken while winter testing, why doesn't one of the spotters take a quick video of the car sliding around, so we could see it in motion and hear the sound etc...

I'd bet you that the "spotters" are just BMW controlling these releases to keep hype up at their desired level

Yeah, I was questioning how all these spy shots kept emerging when it looks like the areas where these tests take place is straight up wilderness. Seems to me that BMW would be well aware of a photographer snapping pics as good as some we've seen. So yes, give us a video, BMW...

If not supposed to be filmed, it sometimes happens that test mule drivers express that they are not amused. But exactly by doing so, the reaction might become a social media story:

I never considered it may be BMW themselves but I don't honestly think it will be, these spy photographers probably get paid per picture for cars such as the M2.

I honestly wouldn't mind terribly much if my car was delayed by a cf roof option, as long as the price remains fixed as at the date ordered. That being said, the car had better be every ounce of goodness it's promising to be.
Really would love some new sound clips. I'm sure they in a BMW dungeon right now honing the noise
