So i made a small change to the picture without the fangs both with the regular front and with a smaller one so it wont look so surprised that is actually going so fast

Regular Front No Fangs!

Small Front No Fangs

Don't like the car without fangs. The fangs are a very characteristic design feature of the M2. It's like robing the E46 M3 CSL the airbox hole in the front bumper ...

Completely agreed. I think the fangs look great, even on the mules

I dint say the fangs were ugly. Just noted that they looked like uppside down versions of the m3/m4 fangs. So i just wanted to show how the render Would look without them 😂

It looked great on the e92 m3
The front bumper on the m3 looked much smoother
The fangs on the m2 look like an add on, and a cheap one at that

Not sure that's an accurate assessment considering we've yet to see the front w/o camo.

Saw the BMW X6 M at IAA 2015 in LBB, and I do not know what people are complaining so much about. It is definitely not the best color in the world, but it is not that bad at all. It will fit the car really well!

The whole freaking show was filled with light blue cars and world premieres in blue, so light blue seems to be the trend lately. I can see where the comments come from, but I think LBB is the only color to order. Only take white if you want to wrap it, else go for LBB. Black and dark grey are so boring.

I took a view at the first renderings in alpine white. I know the M2 is gonna have a bit of curved front way down in the front near the front wheel. I just cant make heads of it why it would look like that considering the other Ms don't have that front. Let me show you with a picture. Or is the M2 going to pave the new way on how the BMW Ms going to be formed in the future.

Original White Rendering

But this is what would make more sens to me having a bit more straight lines the the curved ones.

On this most of the M's have the straight down front rather then a curved one.

And the M3&M4 has the same lines

Don't think this logic can be applied given the difference of the 1M vs the e9x. If anything the 1M was precursor to the M3/M4 in bumper design.

Yes that's why i wrote is the M2 going to be paving way for a totally new design of BMW Ms to come witch would also be very cool. I just like the straight arch designs more then a curved ones. But then again i haven't seen the M2 in real life so maybe it will change my mind when it is released.

I think the front looks much less bulky here than on the latest renders

I still have to wait so see the real thing - I really don't like the front bumper on the renders on the first page of this thread.

Absolutely. The renders give you an idea, but as I said, the front bumper sticks too far past the headlights. You can see it clearly from the countless closeups of the test cars we've seen in the past. It won't be anywhere as bulky.
