I think you're best ordering it directly from a model shop or via eBay.

According to minichamps website it shows preorder and availability in June. Any particular reason why people are ordering from other websites? Perhaps one site has more allocations?

Diecast company I believe is the official distributor, but you have to have a business license to purchase from them. They point you to Tom's as the consumer facing website.

See here: http://www.diecastcompany.nl/register

I had no idea Minichamps had an official store.

Since the product brand is minichamp I just figured they had a site.

hmm...wasn't aware of this site. The one I found shows preorder too but now apparently sold out for the preorder.

How much was your total? Also did you get 10% off?

Any updates? Does anyone have information on release dates? I placed a Pre-Order about 2 months back.

So far it looks like the real thing may beat the model to my garage.

You've owned some very cool cars!

Sorry, I know that has nothing to do with this thread, but you have owned some very cool cars.

Yeah it betrays my age I'm afraid. My very first car was the Triumph TR4A, bought for £ 265 when I was 19 and a student. I could hardly afford to put petrol in it. It was such a thrill though, even if the horn would honk whenever I turned the wheel, the stereo system caught fire, the roof leaked and the car excited all the white van drivers who just HAD to overtake me. It had a lot of mileage and quite a bit of rust but I loved it. After that I was hooked on sports cars and still am.

My auto-biography betrays my age as well. I began with a 1964 Renault R4 van on through an R4 wagon, an R8 Gordini (great car), Camaro Z28 (brute), BMW2002 (the one in my signature line below; love of my life), Datsun B210, Toyota Tercel, VW Jetta, (those were the have-kids-going-to-school-need-an-economy-car days), Triumph TR6 (still have), Nissan Pathfinder (two of those, I was living in the wilderness), Mini Cooper S, Mini Cooper S JCW, BMW 135is, and now my M2.

The M2 promises to keep us young, n'est pas?

Minichamps' website says it has produced M2s in scales from 1/87 to 1/18 in all 4 colors, and all of them are sold out. I assume that means they all went to dealers or collectors with a direct connection to the company, but I've never seen any of these available anywhere. Has anyone else seen them?

My understand is that those were preorders that sold out. Hopefully others can chime in.
