spent 14 years in Europe seen the yellow lights in person a million times. I think it looks tacky.

I like it, but concerned I'd get tired of it. How's the quality on the non oem pair of modules? I was thinking about it but then turned off by the price of everything. The moment I see another F series with the same mod I'd be ready to change.

The modules I ordered through BMW look exactly the same as the OEM pair. In fact, it might be a good idea to install one of the new modules to compare how bright it is vs your OEM module because with time with white LEDs can start to become dull or yellow-ish. If your OEM modules aren't as bright and crisp as the new modules, just install the yellow LED boards on your OEM and keep the other modules for switching back to white LEDs.

These pics aren't that great but the yellow looks good in person. I do recommend using a 2nd set of modules so it's very easy and quick to swap back to the OEM LEDs.

Looks awesome!

How much were the modules from your dealer?

Excellent, thanks for the info. I'm still considering this mod. Seems like it would be quick to swap back and forth one everything is set up.

Do you think it would look better if you coded out the orange reflector lights on the sides?

I don't suppose anyone's done this on a Sunset Orange Metallic M2C?

I've been trying to visualize what it would look like, but I'm skunked.

This is classic. I remember when everyone was replacing their “outdated” yellow halo lights on their E92’s in favor of white. Now Everyone wants yellow since white is the new standard.
