PPF Installer in DMV
Hey team!
While I’m waiting for my M2C to be built, I’ve been looking into PPF installers in the DMV area. Anyone have any recommendations? https://www.aapaintprotection.com/ These guys are super close to me, just curious if anyone has worked with them before and if you had a good experience. Thanks! |

Strongly recommend Speed and Tech Motoring in Sterling http://www.speedandtech.com/ Luc@Speed&Tech They did Xpel Stealth on my M2C and I couldn't be happier. They've got a shop thread on the M3/M4 forum https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1702860

Rashed @ S&T is the man, super good dude.
For my M2C i decided to go with @GlaswerksDMV (IG) they are slightly more expensive, but if perfection is what you're after these are the dudes! Plus, they use the absolute best film on the market right now - STek (not to be confused with SunTek). This shit has a chemically adhered glass coating on top of the film ..... forget about scrubbing your car clean ever again |

All American Paint Protection in Rockville is the best PPF installer I’ve seen. It’s common to see brand new exotics from all over the country being dropped off in enclosed trucks at their shop.

Almost as important as where to go is where NOT TO GO.
While I have heard nothing but good things about Speed & Tech Motoring, I heard mixed reviews about DiazPlus. Went with their unbelievable pricing and learned the hard way that "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" still rings accurately today. Should have never gone there. Dropped my car off with a quoted 2-3 day turn around time. 3 WEEKS later, I pick up my car because the guy hadn't even started working on it. 2 MONTHS later and I am getting my money back through fraud channels. Total waste of time and money, and so much stress the entire time. I should have just gone with the higher (and more realistic) quote from Speed & Tech.

Did something happen to Speed and Tech? I tried reaching out to them to get a quote, but haven't heard back. I also don't see them listed on XPEL's website anymore.

We're still around...We've been short staffed and slammed with big projects the past few weeks. PM me what kind of work you'd like to have done and I'll have Raja reach out with a quote. Thanks!
