My friend owns a dealership in the NE, he has a CS allocation unspoken for. It doesn't have a production date but he'd take $5k deposit on it. Anyone that's serious and ready can PM to connect with one of his sales guys. Gotta take me for a ride when it comes in though

yours might be coming soon too
Argh. No, mine's being built October. There was an initial small batch of about 17, so I guess that's them finally arriving.
If this is true and these are from the initial batch of 17 which were (allegedly) built in April, then ours will arrive in Australia sometime in February 2021

Damn that's a long time to have to still wait

The dealership I usually buy through has three allocations - all three available. They are asking for a $5k mark up over MSRP with no flexibility, not now at least

Yea...my two local dealers (that I work with not necessarily closest) each have 2 and won't sell for MSRP and I can get that elsewhere. One of the two may lose a sale altogether as they have my pending M2C ED order. That said, I don't think I can live without the heated wheel, and without ED I'm kind of starting to spit on BMW altogether. I get Covid isn't their fault...but if they won't hold out as long as needed to let me go on the ED, I may just walk from them altogether.

I'm shocked so many people are hung up on no heated wheel.... especially living in So Cal.... I don't have on in my e92 ///M so I guess I don't know what I'm missing?

It's a tough pull to swallow, but alcantara doesn't get that icy cold feeling. I'll manage through the heartbreak.

Once you've had it, you don't go back. Only issue I have with the BMW M wheel is that it doesn't get hot enough.

Week 45 build.
HS, 6MT
Got blindsided by $5k markup from local dealer. Was not expecting. I am also on another dealer's list but had not heard from them. I knew my dealer already had two other people interested. Been waiting for this car for 1 1/2 years, so I consented with some comments made. Bitter sweet to some degree.

I'd start calling around. I think you can find one at msrp. I've been waiting for 4 yrs, but would not pay a 5k markup. Something else will come along as good or better. It's the nature of the beast. Buyers are already paying a premium at msrp.

I agree, that's pretty shady on their part. I made sure it was noted on my deposit slip so there'd be no "confusion".

In keeping with tonight's theme. Tell them what's up....

I reckon early January. Just in time for my birthday. I'd say the April ones were pushed back due to doom disease.

Also, heated steering wheel seems like such a weird concept to me. I reckon a cooled one would be better.

Also for those like me, who weren't sure, Alcantara steering wheel is standard, unlike in other markets where it's optional.

I was seriously considering doing port installed M Performance Carbon fenders, but I think the lines on it detract from the car. Anyone else feel that way?

I agree. I was thinking of them but against it now. I think they cut away at the character lines of the car's side profile.

That’s a lot of reckoning.

For those of us in cold climates, few things make a cold ride to work more tolerable than a heated steering wheel. It is the thing I missed most when I sold my Range Rover and was thrilled to get it back with my M2C. I will absolutely be retrofitting one into my M2CS.
Reckon I'm going to need counseling after thinking about ur 2CS being driven on cold, snowy and salty northern roads. I guess it's just a car at the end of the day.

Good point. Reformed northerner here - do remember that's when u get a few extra horsepower for burning dense air and a little less traction with cold rubber.

My wife asked me this, which then made me curious. Where and are they any woman on here going cray over this car as it seems the men are. I don't really pay attention to screen names. If there was an obvious one
