Part number 51162471107, meant as a BWM OEM retrofit for F series.
Full frameless with glass extending all the way to edge. Auto dimming.
Lifts the interior appearance significantly.
Has 3 programmable garage door buttons, but these use the Euro 433MHz and 866MHz frequencies and don't work in Australia, or at least not with my ~20 year old garage door drives.

Was in my M2C for only a few weeks before removing to instead fit a used US spec mirror that cost more and had a few minor blemishes.

Back in original box and packaging, perfect as-new condition.
Should fit all F series 1/2/3/4 series that have either no high beam assist at all, or have some or all driver assist functions via KAFAS camera (connected drive on windscreen) which can include high beam assist.
Won't work on cars that only have high beam assist.

I paid about US$245 (~AU$350) shipped from Schmiedmann.
Asking AU$250. Prefer local pickup by somebody in Brisbane/SEQ but will ship at buyers expense.

If your garage door has a hardwire aux relay control you could buy a 433mhz receiver and pair the mirror to the external receiver vs the internal receiver of the door.

For sure it could be made to work like you say.
I just decided to change the mirror instead of the multiple garage door drives/controls.

Going on scamtree soon, but would rather sell it here.
