Uniden r7 works with Escort M1? That's some news for me.
So did you get the r7 blendmount and bought an m1 attachment?

It does. Originally had blendmount with my Escort 360MAX. Then added M1 with the hardware kit from blendmount which was like 6 bucks. Then swapped out the 360MAX for a Uniden R7.

The M1 is fully independent from the radar other than power. Camera takes power from the car, then has a cable coming from it that powers the radar, so no real interaction between radar and camera.

No way! I actually graduated a little over 2 years ago now and am living down in Miami now but I'm up often. Will keep an eye out for your car!

Nice build, beautiful car.

"Slave Cylinder from E9x, remove Clutch Delay Valve"

I hate the clutch delay valve on my F30. Some of the posts suggest drilling out the F30 version, but others suggest the E90 version is a direct fit. What is involved with fitting the E90 slave cylinder to our cars?

Thanks!

Thank you!

Basically as you mentioned the option is buy a new slave cylinder or modify the one already in there. Either way the process for the most part is the same. Have to remove the cylinder, modify it (if reusing the existing one), replace it and then deal with the fluids. I personally had it done at a shop for me while it was in for some other modifications but here is the link that I originally got the idea from which has a good detailed diy.

Parted out and sold. Last I heard it's up in Illinois somewhere. Happened to see the new owner post it up on a Facebook group and recognized the car funny enough

Thanks! and here you go, took a bit to dial it in but super happy with where it is now. Keeping in mind that "sport" settings are for sport and sport + for us on the OG M2.

This build is sick! Are you having any rubbing with the wheel/tire/ Mperf coilover combo? Was under the impression that et31 in the front wouldn't clear the strut, even with 19s.

Also, that CSL trunk

I imagine the price to paint will vary shop to shop.

Not as great as I'd like. Up to about 5 feet away looks perfect but the gaps aren't where I'd like them to be in all honesty. Some parts looks spot on and others just don't.

As far as install issues the biggest issue was fitment and getting it to fit in such a way that it the latch would line up to close.

I've been told that this is kind of nature of the beast with carbon fiber and the best way to go about fixing it is to move the mounting points for the trunk on the car side but have no yet wanted to do that, maybe down the road. Ultimately few people notice the issues with fitment like I do because I am my own harshest critic but I like to be honest when asked about it.

Do have some minor rub but not bad at all, especially after I had a local fender guy who works wonders work his magic. What I get is at highway speed over severe dips, nothing when just doing normal driving or with normal even high way speed road imperfections. In the rear only rubbing on one of the bracket things that mounts the tire bumper to do the body but after shaving that down some I rarely get anything from the back.

The front was already very little rub but after some more working of the fender I have plenty of room on the outside (a bit too much IMO, so next tire change something may change up there). On the inside I clear fine. It is tight but no issues so far.
