I don't know, I've seen MG in person and it looks pretty nice to me. Yes, grey is not a loud color, but on an aggressive looking car like the M2, it just suits it better in my opinion. The other colors, except SB, make the car seem more tame, less angry.

I was told from some members who visited the Brussels auto show, the M2 was not that aggressive at all. Compare the M2 to a Ford Focus RS, now that is what I do call aggressiveness ! |

A possibility to de-blue this car a little with ///M Performance Parts calipers (seen at SEMA 2015).

Or as my daughter said about LBB: "Ah, it's so cute...".

IMHO dark colors do not suit the M2 very well, unless you want a sleeper
LBB and AW are best I think, brings out the lines and curves more, BSM and MG would be my last choices. |

Actually if they had flamingo pink calipers you could complete the Miami Vice 80's era color scheme implied by the teal blue.
Of course, it is absolutely correct that we live in a sea of silver and grey cars. Get a few floors up in a building overlooking a large parking lot and this is really obvious. So my M2 won't stand out. Perfect. As for looking like a manager.. of course I'm a manager. Aren't the rest of you? Last edited by Spook410; 01-20-2016 at 03:43 PM.. |

I was never a fan of LBB in pictures, but I have to say it looked pretty nice in Brussels, when I saw it in person for the first time. However, that was of course under very non-realistic lighting conditions. The way it looks in the picture above is exactly how I don't want LBB to look. Then we get the new MG pictures in this thread, which still have shitty lighting but look better than any that we've had before. And then you post this video and it looks like AW is the perfect fit for the M2 – except that I didn't want another high-maintenance color for my next car (my current one is AW too). |

My M4 which has been and gone was in BSM. All I can say is that from almost the moment I collected her, I regretted not getting an M specific colour. LBB for me but I'm hoping for a colour intro at LCI.

While I think MG is a tad on the boring side, I picture myself driving aggressively in each color and I would want the least flashy option if people are already going to think I'm an ass. And before anyone says "don't drive like an ass then" if you change lanes (even with a blinker) in these parts you're driving too aggressive for most people to handle.
LBB is the best color but it's too flashy for me. AW is just too bright when you include the huge bumpers, white mirrors, and pure white roof. BSM is too much maintenance but will look great when clean. So that leaves MG. Where is silverstone when we need it!? |

Personally I ended up going for black.
My first preferences would have been a nice silver or red, but the other colours didn't tickle fancy. LBB: Way too out there AW: Had enough Alpine white cars and I don't it's a colour for an M2 MG: Saw a 435i in real life in Mineral Grey, it's boring colour unfortunately. If it was a Steel Grey then maybe that would have looked better. I don't get how people can say that the black makes it look less aggressive. What compared to that green/blue colour? This is just my humble opinion, but BSM it was

Nice going Mate. I am leaning that way myself. It looks so wicked in BSM.
