Great write up indeed. They need this on their website. I feel a lot better about putting down $600 when I fully understand what the install entails.

1. How many developed OTS maps do they currently have? I see 2 or 4 if you split between 91/93 (found a post from Dec noting there are S1 & S2 M2 specific maps)
2. For $600 can you start at something like stage 2 and not stage 1?\3. Anybody got a link to the BM3 M2 dyno results for the different stages?

Which steps need WiFi? At what point can you pre-download your map(s) and do everything offline in the car?
Any more need for Online Recode after flashing? |

Assume you are in the beta test now, right?
I purchased the activation but haven't tuned as I believe they are still testing and haven't officially rolled out for the masses. |

For anyone curious what the burbles sound like on proTUNING Freaks's Bootmod3 here you go!
This is the Stage 2 OTS map. My exhaust setup is a Fabspeed Catless DP mated to the MPE. The video progresses from MDM to Sport to Sport+! Edit: Just realized I forgot to open the valves for this video. Exhaust valves are most definitely closed here.

Lol, Guess the Cops in the 'Peg have a better sense of humour than the power tripping d-bags we have around here.
What map did you choose? Assume you have access to Petro C Ultra 94. Any issues you have noticed? Are you getting much out of it, given no turbo/IC/HPFP upgrades?? I'm hearing this version of the N55 is pretty tapped out given the stock hardware. Curious I have have basically same set up (MPE+FS DP). |

The guys at PTF have noted that West Coast 94 isn't exactly the best fuel. They've even gone so far as to say to pick the 91 OTS map if you're located in Western Canada. I'm running meth injection which should (hopefully) make up for the supposed poor quality fuel - I'll datalog it in the Spring and find out. Unfortunately I haven't been able to drive it much, I've stored the car over winter and I've only driven it three or four times with the Bootmod3 tune. Prior to winter I had the car dyno'd with JUST my JB4 and Catless DP. My baseline was 344/378 bone stock, and with the JB4 + Downpipe the car made 374/455. The car is pretty tapped out on the OEM turbo, the JB4 made great power despite this but unfortunately didn't feel as smooth in its delivery. Once Spring shows its face around here I'll be able to fine tune the Bootmod3 tune a bit more for the meth injection and get back on the dyno. I will say though, the couple times I've driven it with JUST the flash, the car felt so much smoother in its power delivery. The top end also felt much stronger just from a butt-dyno perspective.
