That carbon fiber radio trim looks great. Mind if I ask where you got it?

Bumping this back up, I just installed in my LCI and I don't think rennline accomodated for the difference in the way the dash sits against the radio on lci/comp vs OG. The og radio is inset, when I put in my lci it took me a while to get a somewhat decent fit. Not sure I'll keep it as I don't like the gap its making

When you get a sec could you post some pics without the magnetic attachment on? Curious to see if my ball/mount is in the right spot

I also have a small gap. I just live with it. I'm not thrilled with the angle the mount puts the phone at either with the bigger Max phones, but it's probably still the best option.

This is how the mount sits currently. It was as best k could get it. Is the lower part supposed to stick out a little?

I'm actually away until next week, will try to get you a shot then. I don't think it sticks out that much for me. I do have a bit of a wider than normal gap if you look straight on but I don't recall it looking like yours. There's not really much room to install it wrong, so it might be that what you see is normal.

Is it a panel gap ...or the bracket's bend is not following the line of the dash creating that triangle? I see the triangle which I could understand could annoy some people but once the phone is there you wouldn't see it anymore. Of course one would expect for the price, u wouldn't have that.

This is how mine sat, I say "sat" because I was able to adjust it a little bit to get what you currently have. Pushing it back in got it to sit how I originally had it. It doesn't move otherwise without some force.

Love my Rennline Mount. Was one of the first things I did! The phone doesn’t move it all

Anyone mount one of these anywhere other than in Siberia way over there on the passenger side?? Am I the only one that prefers my phone higher up in my sightline to the left of the steering wheel so I'm not taking my eyes off the road? It's just weird to me to have to look way to the right & all the way down or stretch across the dash to reach the phone.

Thinking of yanking the left vent to see what mounting screws are under it to see if this same or similar bracket would work there. Just seems like a safer option to me. Anyone seen an option for a left mount?

I've suggested a higher mounting position to Rennline but they never responded. I also feel the phone should at least be level with the MMI screen but this is the best we can get for now. If you're crafty I'm sure you could replicate the Rennline mount but with a higher position.
