Substitutes for M Performance Exhaust
I've confirmed with my dealer that the m perf exhaust is no longer available. Are there any other exhaust systems that are approved for bmw and wont void warranty?
I know before the m perf people used to install akrapovic or ac shnitzer systems and they never voided warranty. I need need the ballsack to be gone!!!!

I don't think any axle back system voids warranty, Akarapovic are releasing theirs in the first quarter of 2019, eisenmann is released. Remus also released a system.

I will have pictures and sound clips of the Eisenmann system tomorrow when I pick my car up from them.

I was only able to take a few pictures. Will work on the video clips and better pictures this weekend. The sound is spectacular!

Not really... The list price of M3/M4 MPE is around $6K but you can get more than 20% discount on it online or thru various dealers. Also M3/M4 MPE comes with midpipes that delete the resonator. M2C MPE is just a muffler so I don't think it'll cost 5-6k.

The Eisenmann exhaust looks physically better than stock but from my research a single mid-pipe is the best route to go if you want to improve the M2C raspy sound, instead of just enhancing it..
I believe only AA Autoworks makes such a set up.. I would hold out for that design to be completed before I make that leap.. . |
