That was a good quali. Call me crazy but I think Max had another 2-3 tenths of pace he left on the table. He didnt seem to be pushing as close to the walls as say, Monaco, last year, trying to eek out as much time as he could. It seems he was super comfortable and didnt need to risk it for those times.

With the race starting at 5pm GMT, LEW is complaining the 15 car has as many problems if not more as the last one not being a joy to drive and is actually perilous when pushed hard.

The big question is if Charlies car is set up more for quali or race but at this particular fast track it shouldn't make that much of a difference, cars are in park ferme and not allowed to be adjusted in any way except for items concerning safety.

Belgian F1 journalist Gaëtan Vigneron was impressed by Verstappen's pole position lap. According to him, Verstappen is capable of lapping most drivers during the race.

But safety cars will neutralize Verstappen's time gains.

The W15 is (still)! porpoising and the Merc PU is overheating quickly by cooling issues !
Wolff just can't fix it . The 2 Merc drivers have a lack of confidence to push the car at the limit..

More bad news for Wolff :
The Mercedes Development Director "Jerome D'Ambrosio" moves to the Ferrari Team and Loic Serra too !
