Yes there is, I'll demonstrate on dyno. Sport+ makes more peak hp and tq than Sport and DSC off.

That's very odd, especially DSC off.

How do you mean? If you do two sweeps on the dyno - both without any shifting of course - are you saying the torque and peak hp would differ? Hhmmm...

Correct, in DSC off mode she made 10whp less than the next run in Sport+. I did not test in Sport mode, but DSC off and Sport have similar fuel/timing/boost maps.

Each "mode" has different Boost/Timing/Fuel maps, Sport+ is most aggressive.

Shifts are not nearly as aggressive in DSC off mode to keep people from looping our short wheelbase cars...their hands aren't quick enough on the wheel

That is true on the shifts. Last night i hit Z-Max raceway and did 19 launch control runs and it never shifted super rough except when it launched...it is like a smack in the forehead. But after that it was smoooooth and crisper compared to sport +

DCT hard shift

Over 18 month now of M2 ownership. I really enjoy the "aggressive" characteristics in Sports+ mode. The feeling is like the sheep's cloths have been shed and you get to the heart of the car.

I spend most of the time driving around in Sports to get the right balance of power, noise and aggression, but I do enjoy the hard shifts in Sports+

I read the whole article. Apparently no one here understands my comment. Ther is no need for throttle lift.

The whole point of DCT is to be not have any delays when shifting.
