We probably all heard about the M4 GTS transmission software mod for 7spd DKG transmissions to gain smoother shifts and avoid the rough upshifts.

This mod works for OG M2 as well but I noticed this mod isn’t 100% compatible in auto mode as the OG M2 doesn’t have the drivelogic button on the gear selector.
This results in a super early auto shift when being in sport/sport+ just like it does in comfort.

Thanks to kubax86, he came to a solution to test out. The new M2 cs dkg software mapping. All I can say is the result is perfect and just like it should be.
Compared to the GTS software, the cluster now says D1 instead of C1 and the shiftpoints adapts with the driving mode just like the OG software.

Next to all this, the shifts are super smooth just like you can expect with the GTS mapping.

I’m sharing my experience to all OG M2 owners who are having issues with the GTS mapping in auto mode!
