18" Apex Wheels over M Sport Brakes

Have any owners actually verified that 18" track wheels (Apex EC7 etc) don't fit over the new larger silver caliper sport brakes? There was a rumor that it wouldn't fit due to the larger caliper/rotor but wondering if anyone has actually tried it.

They don't fit over the CCBs on the M3/M4 (verified) so they won't fit on the M2C either.

Yeah no way. On the stock wheels the clearance between the caliper and wheel can be measured with a single sheet of paper. It's really close.

Are the new silver caliper M2C brakes the same size caliper/rotor as M3/M4 CCB just steel?

I guess I have to sell my track wheels and get some 19's ugh.

18 inch wheels definitely won't fit when you have the BBK....

Cheers

I messaged APEX a while ago asking about this.

It was a straight up NO. The rotor is too large and when you add the caliper it's just too big to clear.

I will try some once it's here but they probably know best since they built them hence why I asked them first.

Anyone know if the caliper design/rotor size is the same as M3/M4 CCB with the only difference being the rotor is steel and the caliper color is silver vs.yellow?

Trying to figure out if anyone has aftermarket track pads for M2c from a matching existing application.
