Hi

Can anyone share their experinces and pics with 18" 40 profiles tyres? I just got 18" Advan wheels but don't want to lower the car.

What do you want to know? I’ve run 255/40r18f, 275/40r18r for a couple sets of track tires, and currently have 245/265 set mounted up. These are equivalent dimensionally to the common plus 0 upgrade to 255/275 35series on 19” wheels or the OEM 246/265 35series on 19” wheels, so as long as you choose offsets that work well with the car, you should have no issues.

Much wider than that, and you may start to experience some liner rub at full lock on the front, or full compression in the rear.

in my opinion the bigger sidewall of the tires adds to the ride comfort, bumps and stuff are smother
