Was week 48 build, at port for 5 weeks. No allocations left, now doubtful will get same deal on 2020.

This after my 2018m2 was stolen. I've been waiting for Oct and I don't even know what to say or react.

Still at port so who knows if it will be to my satisfaction, but my guy tells me don't accept it after all this.

I hope they step up, but if there aren't any more allocations available and 2020 are going to go above MSRP, what do I do (this was about 5 percent below). This from a long time loyal BMW owner who currently still has a few in my driveway.

Feels like I should get an allocation for 2020 at the same discount, but who knows anymore (they did say if they can't find a dealer with a 2019 with a similar build I'll be first in line for 2020). To be clear dealer seems to be trying, but not sure they will do the right thing on a 2020 allocation price.

Get something in writing if you can from them. If you can't negotiate the discount on a '19 or '20, then try another dealer. Nobody should have trouble getting MSRP or even a slight discount at this stage, assuming they do their homework and shop around.

Be patient! The car will be such a great reward after the drama ends!

19s are impossible to find right now. They are working with a dealer that has one. It's the biggest volume dealer on the east coast I bought it from, so they do have some pull.

I'm hoping they do the right thing on a 2020 as a last resort (5 percent off or close)

If not, Do I just take a m3cs or m5c and try to argue the biggest discount ever? I just don't know anymore...I want a m2c or m2cs lol

Ain't nobody getting 5% off 2019s that I'm aware of. 5% is 5-6k off.

Your best bet is MSRP in writing and call it a day. If you really don't value your time you can argue for $500-1000 for a few hours

That's a foolish deal by the dealer, they could get a lot more selling the car to someone else.

Huh? 5-6k being 5% means the car is worth... 100k??????

Anyway, the markup is so high on BMW's they still make profit on a 5% discount. Hell, I got a 10% discount and the dealer still made money so... If they value customers they'll make deals. If they want to be tightwads then they'll chase the money.

Still, dealer is a moron selling it at that much of a discount when there is a mountain of people on lists waiting for allocations at MSRP .

Not that I have to prove to you, but will post when I get home. Went to another dealer in Long Island who has 2 in stock, same color except both have sunroofs (which I don't want)

Here is the vin in case u want to pull up the sticker. I'll send sale direct. If u want one , call Freeport bmw for the other one they have in inventory.....I'm likely taking the other, but have to give habberstad until Monday out of courtesy to work on a replacement from another dealer.

Maybe they will convince we to take a m3cs since they are now leasable with heavy incentives and residuals of 61 percent.

Just take a SS of the sticker with the discount and we will see. They are doing one these things:

1. Including some kind of incentive that you don't qualify for
2. Giving you a bad rate(MF or APR)
3. You're on one their most favorite people and they want you to keep coming back
4. Didn't promise anything and you'll get shafted when you pick up the car
5. Horrible at business


Tbh, I really do hope you get a legit deal, it's just we've seen this before where someone claims they got 5k off only to be surprised with a million dealer addons(MP this, MP that, extra coverage on random shit)

M3CS is a beast. I wish had the garage space for one.

Also sunroof is legit

2% off? Dawg that's like 1k...you coming to Cali? I'll give you $500 if you come here and are able to negotiate a dealer to come down 3k on an M2C in stock. I'll go to the dealer with you and even buy you a drink afterwords, regardless of fail.
