Anyone not able to have the app functionality from the connected app?

I have the connected app installing, I've tried a direct USB connection and through bluetooth. I have selected the app functionality within the manage devices page. Just nothing, Pandora never pops up as an option Galaxy S9+ I tried posting this in the Idrive section but nobody really goes in there.
