Not a bad review, reinforces what most reviewers have said to date. Personally I love a more technical review, but I'm a nerd and probably in the minority.

If this car was released last year I seriously may have gotten this over the M3 ZCP... or at least tried. At the end of the day the wife wanted me to have something more family friendly, so it may have been an M3 regardless... but an extra $12k+ in pocket would have been nice. It's definitely a value for those that did not pay well over MSRP. With regard to driving dynamics alone, it would appear to most definitely be a value. I'll just keep trying to tell myself the extras were worth it I suppose... obviously 2 more doors and interior space, slightly nicer interior, better looking headlights and hood IMO, much nicer taillights IMO, comp seats... I'm sure there are a few others.

Lower Base Line Rd. Know it well. They ruined it when they rebuilt the bridge to accommodate two way traffic.
Closest I ever came to high-siding my R1 was on their "cliche corner"...would probably still be at the bottom of the ravine if I hadn't been able to hang on and save it.

Review style is ok. Better than many YouTubers, but not the best for sure.

tough crowd, these guys are great. I love their reviews and they are pretty fair, they are not shy to say a car sucks if it sucks. But they are Canadian, so they are nice about it

2 idiots know nothing about cars; say the same thing about every car they reviewed:
"handles so well/ no body roll/ I love this car/ I want to buy this car".

So for this engine if he is referring to the actual definition of turbo lag....I would say yes...pretty much no lag
That is the original definition, but it has been displaced by other people. It’s impossible trying to point out to younger people what turbo lag - a term they didn’t invent, but adopted - actually is, because it’s not a phenomenon you have any more! Off-boost lethargy, as it was often called in the U.K., has also been eradicated by turbos whose threshold is very low by comparison, high compression engines (a turbo used to mean a lower compression) and boost that is controlled much better to avoid a sudden thump - think ‘80s Saab Turbo or ‘90s Nissan.

Edit: Turbo. God, Apple autocorrect is garbage!
My first experience of turbo lag was in my dad's friend's Saab 99 turbo. Nothing, nothing, still nothing, holy sh*t...
