Small Brake Kit for M2C ? OE /aftermarket

What would be the best way to run a small brake kit in order to run 18" wheels in the US ? Use OE Blue brake components off of the OG M2 or is there some other solution ?

I will never track my car and prefer 18" wheels for the extra rubber under the wheel on the So Cal roads. I've run 18" and 19" on my e92 and much prefer the 18s for my type of driving.

Sure. I'll swap mine out for yours. Rotors included.

Was thinking something like this.

Item Number
34112221445
$1,732.00

BMW M PERFORMANCE BRAKE SYSTEM - RED

Brembo high-performance 4-piston aluminum fixed caliper on the front axle and 2-piston aluminum fixed caliper on the rear axle. Improved thermal resistance thanks to larger, internally-ventilated, lightweight-construction sports brake discs. Drilled (dimpled) and grooved brake discs also reduce water film build-up between the brake lining and the disc surface. Available in M Performance Red, Yellow or Orange – all with an M logo on the outside of the caliper. Drilled and grooved, internally-ventilated lightweight brake disks with riveted aluminum hat measuring 370 x 30 mm (diameter x thickness) on the front axle and 345 x 24 mm on the rear axle (rear brake discs must be ordered separately).

**THE BMW M PERFORMANCE SPORTS BRAKE SYSTEM IS ONLY APPROVED IN COMBINATION WITH AT LEAST 18" ALUMINUM WHEELS.**
**FREIGHT ITEM. DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR FREE GROUND SHIPPING.**

If I were you I'd find someone with an OG M2 or F80/82 M3/4 and see if there's any interest in them trading plus cash to do a straight swap. Then use the cash to buy some beautiful 18" style 513m wheels and you're all set!

Our Essex Designed AP Racing Brake Kits all fit inside many 18" wheels. They were specifically designed to be as large as one can cram under common 18" track wheels.

https://www.essexparts.com/my-vehicle/2017/BMW/M2/All

Our CP9660/372mm system is confirmed to fit under the following wheels without a spacer:

OEM 19"
Apex EC7 18x9.5 +22
Apex EC7 18x10 +33
BC Forged RS43 Monobloc 18x10 +15
BC Forged RS43 Monobloc 18x10 +25

If you want to check wheel fitments, you can find downloadable wheel fitment templates on our page for each.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.
