Vorstiener Front Lip

I've been seeing replicas of this front lip, does anyone have a source of where I can purchase? Thanks!

I have the Vorsteiner rear diffuser. Definitely a high level of quality. I for one would not skimp on CF. Vorsteiner uses pre-preg, autoclaved carbon fiber with a UV coating. The quality is on par with any OEM CF. You will find cheaper carbon to be heavier, prone to UV damage/discoloration/peeling. Good CF is expensive.

No.. You dont. A carbon lip will never have a 1000-2000 dollar value no matter how you spin it.

Somewhat agree. Some of these CF parts are way more expensive than they should be. You're paying for a name, and the BMW Tax.

That's your opinion. You're entitled to it. But don't presume to tell me what I (or others) should value...Last time I checked, I'm spending my money, not yours.

Go ahead and buy some cheap knock off...it's your $. But don't come back here in a few months bitching about how it cracked and discolored or the weave/fitment is "off"...because the answer you will get is that you should have bought the higher quality piece.

Things like quality and hassle free warranty have significant value to me, so I am willing to pay for it...and apparently so are others or companies like Vorsteiner wouldn't continue to be in business.

Unlike a lot of aftermarket German car exhaust pieces where almost everyone is using the same 304SS and muffler technology you see in exhausts for import or domestic cars that cost considerably less I really do believe that when it comes to carbon fibre you do get what you pay for as there's an actual manufacturing process that depending how much quality is put in can yield different results.

Assume your $xxxx.xx piece fits perfectly and has the perfect carbon weave. Great, now what? It's still an absolutely functionless cosmetic piece. And I'm not saying the slight improvement in aesthetic has no value, I just have a hard time correlating the particular price paid for the benefit gained. My point that you still don't get what you pay for stands. If perfect fitment or perfect weave meant something more than it looks funky in the sunlight, I'd agree with your point. But as you said, its your money, never said otherwise however the point of a public forum is so that we can share our opinion.

Well they did design it in house as well. They also build 993s out of cf https://www.guntherwerks.com so I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing.

Never claimed they didn't know what they were doing, nor questioning the quality.
