It sounds as though BMW has been listening to a degree.
Now we'll see if they are really listening and make ASD and auto rev-matching able to be turned off by the user (i.e. BMW, please stop giving us "improvements" that nobody was asking for, or if you do, let us turn them off if we don't want them!)

As Gwen would say...That is just "B ..A.. N.. A.. N.. A.. S"...all this stuff will likely push the price over 100k in Canada. TBH I'm still struggling with the styling of the unibrow/magnum stash...but the rest of this is starting to pull my gaze away from that eyesore. Touché BMW...touché.

The carbon fiber roof is very interesting. A core concept to the M2 was lowering production costs and staying within the production limits of the Leipzig factory. I cant imagine they will factory install the roof. But on the same hand are they really going to be tearing brand new roofs off at the port. This is very interesting.

M2CS European delivery
I'm interested in M2CS European delivery. I was told that less and less dealers are now doing European delivery. Back in 2013 when I did one on F10, I got European invoice pricing + $500. The dealer I went thru last time is not doing it anymore. Can someone guide me which are the still dealers doing and is it still a better deal as it used to be? Thanks

This addresses so many complaints. Bravo BMW. Love it. Wheels are perfect and if it can be ordered with any of these parts a la cart, then I just have one question, How much?
Coil over suspension, CF roof, CF hood, colored (not gray) calipers would almost be a must for me if I order one, but if it drives the price up in to the stratosphere, then maybe not. |

Minus the colors. This is how the M2 comp should come from the factory

Hoping all these CF bits fit the 2016-2018 M2s. I don't see there being any issues but you never know.
+1 For an OEM carbon hood/bonnet. All the aftermarket ones never seem to fit properly.. |

Wow... Seriously wow... I'm very excited for what remains to be seen for the next generation M3. I'm hoping this carbon fiber theme continues beyond the M2 Comp.
But seriously, if I can order these parts with my next car from the factory, it would truly separate BMW M from the AMG and RS worlds.

My dealer still does ED - there was an M2 ED through them not long ago. I'm not sure if there are discounts for it anymore though.

This is the first time BMW is offering a CF roof as an additional m-performance part, right? So this would have to be done at the factory? Hood+roof+bonnet look amazing, question is how much the bean counters forecast pricing to allow all these parts to be developed. Guessing it will be but does follow the idea that the M2c starting price will be attractive but by the time you add all the goodies you're well into the $70s

I have a 17' M2 and I am seriously considering the bonnet and the roof, if anything 100% the roof, possibly the splitter and to be honest even the brakes, the rest doesn't really interest me, however it's cool to see BMW finally doing what everyone wants.
