Nope. I have 17-03-503.

Numbering appear to be as follows: CHASSIS-YEAR-MONTH-REVISION

I wonder if people would feel the changes if they were to simply unplug the battery. It's a very common thing gearheads do to cars to "wake them" up through a hard relearn. My guess is you guys are feeling the same thing here and things will dissipate and go back to normal as the DME learns the air/fuel/timing tables, octane, ambient conditions, and your driving style.

As for lag on shifts, my M235 6MT has no perceivable lag on 2-3 and 3-4 upshifts that are made above around 6300+rpms assuming I'm in DSC Off or Sport+. I always found that to be a cool feature.

There are three notations. I was referring to Navigation maps (Post #16). Two others are bluetooth communication and media software (Post #6) as well as I-Step.

I-STEP F020-17-07-507 was released in September.

No no, what we need is a pre-LCI before update, followed by the same pre-LCI after update. The delta, if any, is what's important.

This is very interesting. Anybody else that has done this is doing any data logging to confirm boost increases?

Also running 2016-2

My Pre-LCI car goes in next week for a few things (yearly oil change/apps). Hopefully the software will be updated to fix my apps.

My '17 car -> Production Date: 9/13/16 (Week 38)

Yes. Science please.

Who's willing to commit to this? I'm down to contribute to a dyno fund to ease the process.

Seems like we would want a baseline set, then unplug battery and force the car to reset to relearn driving style and do some dyno runs like that, then upgrade to latest ISTEP. That way we know if improvements if there are any are the upgrade or the reset.

Does anyone know if 2017-1 (that came flashed on my LCI, just took delivery 1 week ago) contains the improvements mentioned in OP's post?

2017-1 is a map update. It is separate from ECU firmware/software.

Yes like I described. 0 power lag between shifts now it’s way smoother. Boost comes on super aggressive and better fuel economy has been noted. I think the car puts down power better in general.

This time I’ve waited a few days and a ew hundred miles for the car the relearn and the changes are still noticeable. I also data log quite often definetly not a placebo on this software. You were on my previous thread also skpetical. How about you get a flash done? I can help you remotely as well and you tell me? Downsides? Better iDrive LoL?

If someone wants to pay for a dyno at EAS and another car on an older firmware I’d be more than willing to drive up. Josh you in?

Rather just unlock the ECU and get BM3 if I'm going to dyno
