Two-year Service was due next month, so two days ago, I took the car to the dealer not only to do the service, but finally get rid of the Continentals that came with the car. Got Michelin PSS's, which are hell of a lot better than the stock Continentals. Reason why I got PSS instead of the new 4S was dealer was able to get the PSS's for a buy 3 get 4th tire free deal.
After getting the new PSS's installed, I tested them out on Angeles Crest Highway. Wasn't truly able to test the performance because it was so cold. (Turned back once I saw snow). Although I wasn't able to test the performance, I was very happy with the substantially improved ride quality. Those Contis were terrible in ride quality compared to the Michelins.

2.5hrs to get this swapped in. What a merry belated-christmas it is!
I'm VERY happy with the HJS 300 cell. Car's peppier, feels a bit more eager to climb the rev range. And then there's the sound...oh the sound. So. Nice. I'm on stock exhaust and I don't see myself wanting for anymore. It's loud when you want it to be, while being stock quiet during cruise/idle. Couldn't be happier, downpipe + ASD bypass is such a win. |

Nice. When I was over there a few months back for a couple days on the Ring in M2’s, we hit the limiter in our rental X5M at 270kph on the A1 south of the Ring. It was a bit sketchy!

Thanks guys. A few days after this video I also hit 270. It’s crazy how even on the German autobahn you start really noticing corners and elevation changes at that speed. The M2 was still composed and well behaved, can’t wait to take it to Nordshleife and Hockenheimring and Monza and Spa...
I have 5 years of road racing a Mustang under my belt, and I can’t wait to learn the M2! Looking forward to my next 3 years in Germany for sure! |

I decided to upgrade (again), this time to real M2C mirrors. Much better visibility, and in my opinion an overall better look. Couldn't be happier. Here's a few comparison photos:

I've had my M-perf steering wheel for a while now and although it still looked\felt fine, I figured it was time for a cleaning. I used the Sonax foam and it turned out great. Really looks and feels better. The nap is standing up like new.
It seems to be one of those things that doesn't seem like it needs attention until it gets that attention.

Which coating product did you use?
In terms of protecting paint from stone chips, PPF still does a way better job.

I didn't get the car coated for chip protection since that's not it's purpose |
