Use 18" wheels for winter tire set?

I did a search of this forum with no results. I'm considering a new M2C when my 330e lease tolls this summer. I have a set of BMW 18" wheels from my 528i (8J x 18 ET30, 5 x 120) and would like to use them for a winter tire set. But, the brake calipers on the M2C "look" to have very little clearance with the stock 19" wheels. Anyone know if the 18" set will clear? M2 is one of the last BMW's that still use the 5 x 120 wheels.

There are not any 18" wheels that will clear the calipers on the M2C. (as far as I'm aware)

I was in the same situation and wanted to utilize some 18" rims we had from his M235. There was a lot of debate if the 18" would work or not. I was in a hurry to get this done so I never bothered to see so if they would work. We converted his OEM rims to winter and will go buy a summer setup. I "think" BMW has an 18" winter setup and I believe there are some 18" out there but selection is slim. My problem is I want the car to look as good in the winter as I do in the summer.

The OG M2 (like you have) has some 18" wheel options. The M2C does not (as far as I know). The brake calipers are even bigger on the M2C than the original M2.

That's right. I guess he'll have no choice but 19". There is good selection in that sizing.

On the stock 788 19" M2C wheels, there is literally about 1/8" of clearance between the front caliper and inner barrel (US spec). Impossible to fit an 18" wheel without swapping brakes.
