Advice - Escalation Chain

Hopefully I can get this resolved directly with my dealer, but it appears somehow my order was placed with the wrong wheels. 2019 LBB and I wanted the bi-color wheels and not the black ones. The BYO sheet the dealer sent BMW NA was correct, yet somehow it was entered incorrectly. I have the production number and it currently shows in status 112. The allocation was for 2018 week 49 with an assigned production of 2019 week 4 for confirmed European delivery 15 February 2019.

According to my salesperson, BMW NA in New Jersey is saying they can't change the wheels at this point. Everything I've read here says that shouldn't be the case. As soon as BMW GMBH confirmed my ED date and time, I've started booking hotels and flights. I really don't want to delay the order, but I also want to make sure I get the wheels I prefer.

To whom do I escalate at BMW NA or GMBH? Suggestions please...

No more issue. BMW NA has agreed to swap wheels with brand new ones when the car arrives in Plano. Whew!

Glad you got it resolved. Having seen pictures of the bi-color wheels I am not a fan but to each his own. I would have asked for a set of 763M's on the house

Fair enough. To each their own...

For some reason, I feel like LBB is the only one that looks good with the bi-colored ones.
