Great find, thanks!

Although I thought his review was sort of anticlimactic, as he's basically parroting everything we're already heard 10x over, it's always a delight to see him showcasing the vehicle's potential, as he whips it around the a track..

Summary: A revised M2 with a better motor, shiny new strut brace and some "ugly" wheels added for good measure.

With only a few exceptions, the reviews on the M2C have been pretty heavily consistent. I think the most negative review was the Vehicle Virgins guy. At this point, I would have been surprised if Chris had anything significantly new to say on it. Watching him drive it was great, though.

True that, at this juncture, there's only so much left to discover.. I guess the M2C's reviews have come full circle and is now bordering redundancy..

Unlike VV, at least he got all the facts correct, so any of his criticism hold more weight and credibility..

BTW, what's a "Yuba"? I didn't even understand the context it was used.. Even my homeboy Google is stumped :

As other said nothing new on the review, but watching him drive this car is just enjoyable to watch.

Comparing his past review length to this one ~ it's obvious that his schedule is full.

Interestingly the new brakes are actually a standout part of the car for him

Those cracked on early brake failure earlier seems to have disappeared off the face of this forum

No surprise the stock pads couldn’t hold up to dozens of laps back to back at Ascari.

Street pads are for the street

I think he said Yobber, not Yuba.

Yobber is Brit Slang for someone who does what he wants and doesn't give a $H!T about anyone else.

Quote:
Look up yobbo or yob in Wiktionary, the free dictionary.
Yob is a slang word used in the United Kingdom. The term denotes a loutish, uncultured person,[1] and is published in dictionaries in the United Kingdom.[2] In Australia and New Zealand, the word yobbo is more frequently used, with a similar although slightly less negative meaning.
Enjoyed the video, M2(C) can't do anything wrong according to Chris....

Always entertaining. The typical Harris hoon fest without too many details. Wish I could drive like that around here. Love watching him work the wheel.

Thanks for the 'translation,' guys...

You know us Americans and our "Colonial English" doesn't always pick up on British slang..

Glad someone was here to clarify..

A glowing review if I ever saw one. We could all do much worse than one of these in our garage

I love Chris and his reviews but he falls subject to the same failings as many other reviewers - making criticisms that contradict previous statements. For example, he stated that the old M2 simply wasn't up to snuff as a daily car that you can occasionally take to the track... really? "It wasn't up to the job". Not that it wasn't a "fantastic track car"... no, apparently its not even capable of "occasional track duty"... come on Chris, that's such a daft statement. This is the same guy that said the M2 was the best M car in years. He also compared it to the RS3 on the top gear track and make exaggerated statements about how much fun it was to drift around corners and alluded to it being the spiritual successor to the E46 M3. Silly man making silly statements Still love watching him light up rear tires though.

Some of his reviews seem random. I much preferred Jeremy Clarkson and the older top gear team.

I am glad he likes the car as I have found his "feel" for cars is dead on even though he appears to just be hooning it up in the videos. The car review folks that talk too much about this and that annoy me as great cars are more than the sum of their parts/upgrades and when you get them on a track you know the difference between great and mehhh. I have had my M2 for 500 miles now and I instantly new it was a winner. After proper break in, the track cometh soon! That is, after a set of track wheels and MSC2s are thrown on it!

I guess I'm not the only one who thinks the seating position is a bit high. In fact, I think it's higher than my M4 (both at the lowest position).

That circuit looks like a blast to drive. Great choice in showcasing the car there.

So many reviews are like that. A lot of the Comp reviews bring up all the issues they had with the M2 and that the Comp fixed them.... but if you go back to their review of the M2, they didn't have these issues....
