Not that I can change something that happened in the past but I bought my car used and I'm not sure what the break in period was on 2017 M2.
I have a record from the dealer that did an oil change around 5500kms, just about one year after the car was put in service.

Is that normal or did this car have a 2000kms run in period with different oil?

All years of the F87 have had a 1200mile/2000km break in period.

Ok, thanks. Mystery solved. The run in service was done at 2300 and the next oil change was based on time elapsed from new (12 months) so it was at 5500kms.
So I should be good until next year.
