Best Charge pipe and FMIC for stock tuned or maybe tuned in the future.

Which one is good FMIC for ftp charge pipe? Also which FMIC is good enough for being tuned?

If you plan on staying with the stock turbo I'd get a Wagner comp II if budget isn't a concern. There are more cost friendly options that perform well but I like Wagner generally.

I have an ER charge pipe and Wagoner Comp evo 2 IC. Everything fit perfectly. There's been a few posts on here showing the wagoner isn't the most efficient for the size/money but it works for me.

I gone with the CSF FMIC with FTP Charge Pipes. I would recommend avoiding this combination. It does work and fit, but the CSF nozzles points slightly upwards compared to stock so my silicon coupler/hose clamp is currently contacting my alternator. Thic Whips on youtube also ran into the same issue. I might play around with it this winter to see if I can rotate the CP a bit on the intercooler side or insert some sort of soft barrier in between and replace frequently, but not much I can do.

But in terms of performance and everything, I love it. I don't feel any extra lag with the CSF unit (according to my butt dyno at least).

MAD, Active Autowerke & Wagner Tuning are all confirmed to fit with the FTP charge pipe.

If you are running a stage 1 map, MAD 5", Active Autowerke, Wagner EVO I will all do a good job

if you are running a stage 2 map, get the MAD 7", Wagner EVO II

CSF and Evolution Racewerks are good options for the stage 2 maps as well but you'll need to make sure its compatible with the FTP charge pipe

Not the best option for a stock car, but if you are planning to upgrade in the future, then completely understandable just don't expect any noticeable improvement before you get the tune

Eh. I didn't have this problem at all on my M2. The CSF worked flawlessly with FTP hard pipes all around. Maybe it was a bad batch?

No idea maybe? haha I typically don't advertise bad fitment given it might just be me but it has been documented by other owners and like I mentioned on Youtube. Guess you are lucky! XD

Yeah, I wasn't aware there was any documented fitment issues. Had mine installed for over 2 years now with zero problems.

I did VRSF charge pipe and 5.5 intercooler and it was a breeze to install, they keep my stage 2 temps nice and low. Quality products with all parts included for assembly.
