Just another Hockenheim Silver M2C...

Hey Folks,

Very proud new owner of a 2019 Hockenheim Silver M2C DCT: Executive package, Black w/ Blue Stitch, Carbon Fiber Spoiler, Carbon Fiber Mirror caps.

Picked her up last night with 6 miles on the odometer from a dealer up in the Bay Area without even taking a test drive. I did not special order this, nor was I ever intending to get a BMW. Full discloser, I've been driving Audi's for the past 10 years and was planning on picking up an RS3 until someone in my office said check out the M2C. Well, the rest is history. I'm coming from a modded 2016 S5 6spd.

I've only put about 40 miles on the clock but so far WOW. I do miss the low end/instant acceleration in the supercharged engine but holy hell this thing is an animal towards the upper RPMS. Handling and precision, not even a comparison between the two... the S5 is a big fat floating pig.

UPDATE (2/28/23): New shoes! Here's an official updated w/ pics and a list of progress on the build since taking ownership last March. I'm having an absolute blast driving around and it doesn't look bad standing still either

Super stoked on this thing, I live really close to my office so I've only been able to put about 120 miles on but man, I'm just blown away. Truly a sports car vs the S5.

Congratulations!

I just ordered a very similar spec (HS, no sunroof, executive package, dark wheels, 6MT). First mods will be tints, cf spoiler and mirror caps, and reflector deletes.

Here are a few shots post tinting. Went with 13% all around for those who are curious on how dark it looks in sunlight vs inside. I'm glad I went with this shade, really pops!

More crappy cell phone pics to come, but hopefully better background next time.

I came into my OG M2 DCT from a 2007 RS4. I do miss it but got sick of the manual in traffic.

All kinds of things annoy me about the RS3 starting w/ the A3 body and the tiny rear brakes - you made the right choice!

Not to mention NO power seats! Its unforgivable on a car in this price range.

I get more compliments on the color rather than the car itself. But yes, I love the different shades of HS depending on lighting.

I have yet to see the color in person. Does it look like the Porsche "chalk" color?
