Multiple 1156 bulbs. Look at the first page or so of the thread.

I saw, im just curious where the light comes from for this section since it don't appear to have it's own set of bulbs.

brake lights have 3 bulbs/leds, blinker has one, turn signal has one and the fog lamp/ brake force light has one. this section doesn't appear to have any for itself yet it lights up.

i'm assuming the brake lights somehow illuminate it?

Now I understand your question, sorry - That center section is led from the factory.

According to the Amazon fitting tool these are not available for M2.

What is the LED replacement for the FOGS. That is the only one I'm interested in.

+1 to the OP and this thread. Subtle but significant improvement IMO. Yay for pre-LCI LED tails and front blinkers/indicators.

Now about those gauges...

I did this and was surprised at how easy it was to remove them. What LED bulb is used to replace the backups & front turn signals?

Backups are the same as the tail lights in terms of socket type (1156), they're just white instead of red. The front turn signals are 7507 (150 degree notches) in amber.

See this thread for the front turn signals: http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...&highlight=LED

So I finished the swap today! Very happy with the results. I decided to try amber turn signals on the US spec taillights in an attempt to get a more yellowish color, but unfortunately they look sorta orange/red through the plastic. Oh well, still happy. Followed OP's instructions and had 0 issues. Total cost for the Vgate wifi obd2 reader, bimmercode app, and Sirius LED's was $165.50. Much cheaper then a set of LCI tail lights. Looks even better in person. Easy mod, 100% worth while.

I think the "monitoring" of each light needs to be set "Not Active".
What about "indicator rear lamp" do u set it to led?

No, I believe "indicator rear lamp" is the rear fog bulb. I didn't change that.

Hello

Did have anyone problem with front indicators, i had orginal bulbs that i want to swap for LED, but when we swap the LEDS didn work. (i didnt do coding but it should work anyway with some alert/notification i think).
When we swap rear original lights for LCI LED they work instalntly but there was warning notification and we did coding and then worked with no problems.

Does enyone know what to do in front to work indicators correctly?

Thanks

I own these and they work great:

Don't think they require any coding to work. I coded them in anyway just to avoid hyperflash and error messages.

Did anyone ever figure out the rear fog bulb LED equivalent? I want to do the rear fog mod and don't want it to be the only non LED bulb

Since no one knows I figured it out....

Crappy photo bc my phone camera sucks and some quality was lost in resizing, but it looks great in person.

This is what you need:
