All I want is the factory CS tune. I'll pay $5k if I can add it to my M2C and keep my warranty (not Dinan pseudo-warranty BS).

This makes sense as M2 CS should be relevant in the M2 world until at least 2023 so about 3 years from release in 2020. The M2 (competition) is supposed to be out of production from 7/21 to 12/22 according to the new car release thread. Also, the G87 M2 CS may not launch until 2025 or so.

This latest video from the smoking tire shows a 600hp M2C with just a tune and minor suspension upgrade. Pretty simple upgrade, but shows how capable the chassis is and also how the standard brake package can still handle the extra increase in power. Very impressed with the M2C and really hits home on some people's comments on how the M2CS may not be the best option compared to price.

Would I like one? Yes.
Would I buy one, yes if money was no issue. Will I sell my M2C and add a significant ammount to buy one? No. For me the numbers dont add up, for someone else I am happy you can get this car. If you can, you should. |

I love the blue color it is being shown with and I like most of the carbon fiber bits, especially the roof!
But, will I sell my competition and spend more money for the CS? No. Even if I didn’t have my competition already, was shopping for an M2 and could get a CS, I’m not sure I’d spend the extra money for it. I do really love that blue though. |

I’ve read in German press that the increase will be E30k. That typically translates to the same amount in $ in our market. Entertaining, yes, but compared to a new $90k corvette? Not so sure.

Well today, my bday.. I pulled the trigger on an M2CS (blue, manual, CCs). Its the first BMW I have bought since 2013 (M6 Coupe). Why not just a M2C.. yes more expensive but when you look it being a bit limited and all the parts bins, latest tech, carbon everywhere, and the carbon ceramic break option seems like it will tick the boxes for something fun, unique, and maybe the last of the last. Yes pricey, but I am for so many reasons simply loving it.
