Lightweight front lip + turner skid plate?
Does any one have this combo?
I have a lightweight lip and have a turner plate that I was going to install but looking at it it might not fit right because of where the lip bolts into. Does anyone have this combo working? well, going to answer my own question, got under the car real fast and is a nope, not going to work. Last edited by MooMooM2; 03-22-2022 at 08:53 AM.. |

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-6...kaAlA7EALw_wcB do you have pictures? I don't see any possible way this could fit as the lip would hit the oil cooler cover. Maybe you had the ind fall line one? Last edited by MooMooM2; 03-22-2022 at 09:51 AM.. |

if that makes sense, the turner plate extends a bit further than the oem. |

I have the lightweight lip + F80 turner skid plate on my F87 with no issues. I think warrenw has the lightweight + F87 Turner Skid plate

Taking the plate under the car with the lip already installed really does not seem like it would fit at all. I did just see a post by warrenw and does seem like both are installed in the car, I guess I will take a shot at it (I am actually going to do a similar method to the f80 one and get rid of the sides and cut up the stock one - as Farkle has done in one of his videos) Last edited by MooMooM2; 03-23-2022 at 06:19 AM.. |

Mine fit like crap and couldn't be easily taken on/off unless removing the splitter too. You need to have flexibility in the part of the bumper to get the Turner in whole, which is something a splitter takes away.

I will try to install it whole first and see but farkle is not the first person to say its a huge pain to install, makes sense since the plastic is flexible vs the plate.
What I might so is install it btw the plastic and the lightweight splitter instead of trying to get it under both, this will make the install probably quite a bit easier. |

Tried to install it today, it might work but I have to agree with Farkle, this thing is a pain to install whole. No way I want to go through re-installing this every time it has to come off, if I was a mechanic I would hate whoever brought me this crap. The OEM one goes in literally in 15 seconds, I spent 5 minutes trying to fit this and still was not able to do it, its way too stiff. I am going to chop it up tonight and try to install it tomorrow.
