2 Complaints (road noise & seat belts) - Suggestions welcomed

Came from a 09 135i...loved that car. Fully expected my 19 m2c to be better in every way...and it is except for 2 things.

1. The car has a lot of road noise (partially due to some “old” roads in my area.
2. Seat belt cuts across the neck no matter how I adjust my seat.

Anyone else experiencing the same things? Any fixes for the road noise (extra seals? Undercoating?) or seat belts?

Do a search on the forums, some have added back insulation present on the M235i but removed for the M2 with good results.

Thanks to all who have replied so far. I went on amazon and purchased the seatbelt adjusters!

Does anyone know StLuis51? They made a comment on another thread:

“Also added the supplemental door seals. I had these from the factory on my M240i and don't understand why it didn't come on the M2C. It helps reduce some tire noise and I just feel better having it. Again cheap and easy to install.“

Trying to get a better understanding of what they’re referring to...

Re seat belts, our 11yo is 1.55m (5'1") and the belts don't cut across her kneck if the seat is at the correct height. This may mean the is raised to an "uncool" height but your head and shoulder would be the same height as a taller person with the seat lowered.

I think the M2 and M2C would be similar for road noise mainly due to stiffer suspension arm bushes and strut tops etc.

135i was a lot softer and cosseting by comparison. (I had a 09 335i)

You may also want to code out ASD or install the bypass harness.

I have had good luck with a couple of sheep wool straps that wrap around the seat belt and can be positioned up or down on the straps. I got them on Amazon. I don't use mine because I am tall, but my wife really likes them, and for her, they are essential. Before I got those, she used a kitchen chip bag clip (can't think of the correct name) that is used to keep sacks such as potato chips closed. She positioned it so that the belt is just a little loose in a similar way as the clips described in post #3 by evilstib. She likes the sheep wool solution better though.
