2 Complaints (road noise & seat belts) - Suggestions welcomed
Came from a 09 135i...loved that car. Fully expected my 19 m2c to be better in every way...and it is except for 2 things.
1. The car has a lot of road noise (partially due to some “old” roads in my area. 2. Seat belt cuts across the neck no matter how I adjust my seat. Anyone else experiencing the same things? Any fixes for the road noise (extra seals? Undercoating?) or seat belts? |

Do a search on the forums, some have added back insulation present on the M235i but removed for the M2 with good results.

Thanks to all who have replied so far. I went on amazon and purchased the seatbelt adjusters!
Does anyone know StLuis51? They made a comment on another thread: “Also added the supplemental door seals. I had these from the factory on my M240i and don't understand why it didn't come on the M2C. It helps reduce some tire noise and I just feel better having it. Again cheap and easy to install.“ Trying to get a better understanding of what they’re referring to... |

I think the M2 and M2C would be similar for road noise mainly due to stiffer suspension arm bushes and strut tops etc. 135i was a lot softer and cosseting by comparison. (I had a 09 335i) |

You may also want to code out ASD or install the bypass harness.
