Custom Exhaust Setups

Has anyone done a custom exhaust setup (ie straight pipe) on their N55 M2?

I have the stock exhaust and the resonator delete isn't enough for me, and I am not looking to mess around with downpipes right now. I was looking into custom fabbing a dual pipe setup straight from the cat to the tips.

If anyone has done this or anything similar please let me know! I was also considering opening up the muffler and welding a solid pipe through it instead of the oem perforated one.

Thanks everyone!

Have you installed a sport cat yet? I have that with the stock exhaust and it's the perfect combination of tone and volume for me.

Fabspeed makes a straight pipe exhaust for our M2. You can look at reviews on that for opinions and sound. It's an axle-back dual pipe, so not the cat-back dual pipe that you're talking about. But I don't think it will sound too different, as they both feed from a single pipe. True dual pipe setups sound different because they split cylinders per pipe.
