Looks like a pretty small difference between the N55-powered M2 and the S55-powered M2C. The former’s a lighter car, so it’s hard to say how much is down to the engine itself, I suppose.
The auto is quite efficient

The OG is 150lb lighter so stock for stock the power bump is nearly meaningless. When you start talking about modifying them, the OG is actually easier to run as a dual purpose car. Exactly why I chose OG over comp for dual duty. A couple bolt ons(IC, DP, Charge Pipe), camber plates, 18x10 square w/ 275’s, schroth quickfit, easy pad swap, and gooo!


I believe the OG has the oil pump/sump and pistons from the s55, so no real issues there. Add an aftermarket intercooler to helps manage temps and you’re all set.

“Yeah but I saw a YouTube video that talked about the higher revving S55 and bigger brakes on the Competition.”

Reality is 99.8% of people can’t get close to the actual limit of either vehicle completely stock on track and it’s just a bunch of fully grown kids arguing at the lunch table over which superhero can beat up another one.

True, I can’t even explore the limits of my M235, and it’s stock. To me it’s crazy fast and there aren’t tuns tight enough to explore the limits
