The dealership really earned their markup on this one. The same clip is $8 from FCP Euro, but with the $7 shipping, ends up being even more expensive than the local dealership's parts dept discount price.

Nicely done

With FCP you just have to buy a few other things you might need to get free shipping

The cobra Nagaro’s comfortable. I like that bottom isn’t too pinched like the Recaro seats.

Have Recaro buckets in my RS275-R (pic), both are comfortable seats imo. The Cobras are definitely better suited to road use though.
I don’t get people that whine about good bucket seats (most have never owned a car with them).
Driving position & the overall feel provided in a quality bucket is way more important to me than having a heavy spongey chair with a rubbish driving position & zero support.
The driving experience is improved so much in a QUALITY bucket seat, if you want a soft fluffy experience don’t buy a performance car to begin with.
My RS200 tarmac rally car (pic) had Cobra Evolution buckets which are a true FIA spec winged race seat & even they were reasonably comfy.
Oh & im a big guy & 55, some people are just way too soft to own real performance cars & should stick to owning Camrys.😂

Cheers, it does look great in person. As always it’s all about the details. Will be interested to see how it’s received at this years OZ BMW Nationals.

Just installed the DRL's from IND. Pretty easy, look maybe 45mins. I hammered in a small flathead screwdriver to pop off the oem boards. Then used a blade to scrape off the old adhesive and cleaned it up with alcohol. Love them so far, would recommend.

On the weekend I finallly installed an AFE dry filter in place of the oem. Now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to do so. I was pretty skeptical that the difference could be felt, since I didn’t feel the difference on my previous bmw (different brand aftermarket filter), way back in the day. Much improved throttle response off the line and even from highway speeds. Money well spent and should be one of the mods a new OG owner should do.

This morning my mechanic installed the MST v2 turbo inlet and gvb dv+. An upgrade I’ve been wanting to get done for a long time now. I’ve only driven home from the shop and haven’t had much open road to test it out, but I can say, I now have too much power for my winter tires. On dry pavement, I’m getting wheel spin at rev ranges I wasn’t before. Summer can’t come soon enough.

Took her in for her 5 year service. Couldn’t get the $225 3 year oil change because I was a few days before the 5th year of delivery. I wasn’t very happy about that since the website and the My BMW app both said that was the service I signed up for. My M2 is 5 years old since the manufacture date is November 2017.

They also changed the differential oil and installed new wiper blades.

It was too much of a pain to cancel the appointment and book it a few weeks later.

This is great. I have the same in boxes here. Do you mind sharing what your mechanic charged? Hours for the install would be useful if that's preferred over labor costs.

Thanks!

If you haven’t change the Intercooler out, consider it

You’re going to absolutely love your M more than ever before

My car absolutely rips on the stock ECU now, so much so, I may not bother tuning it

I have a CSF intercooler, FTP charge pipe, Fabspeed sport cat and MHD stage 2+.

My original intention was to do all the bolt ons first (like you) then decide if i needed (wanted) a tune, as I was bit cautious about it. After my mechanic installed my ic/cp/dp I said I’d be back soon to do the inlet and dv, but he convinced me to tune instead as it would be more bang for the buck in his opinion. I think he was probably right about that but I’ll never really know how much difference the inlet and dv would have made without a tune.

On my stock ECU it makes an incredible difference having both the DV and V2 Turbo inlet. It’s like drinking through a huge straw. It has truly transformed my car. I also have a fabspeed sport cat.
