XXX Rootbeer Closed

Just read that yesterday was the last day of operation for XXX Rootbeer. With many BMWCCA events held there I will surely miss it.

Interesting that they gave hardly any notice. I guess they posted it on their website yesterday that it was going to be their last day. The owners retired and sold the property.

I think the owner had issues paying the rent. And other responsibilities. The owner of the property sold the property.

Retired is an understatement but effectively that’s exactly what has happened. They have retired.

Looks like Burgermaster is moving in - hopefully this means there might be room for car related events in the future 😀

I saw that yesterday. Some hope for future car events. Though every Burgermaster that I have seen has been a dine in your car event old 1950s style with a tray on the drivers side window.

That I have to disagreee. Both I and my wife enjoyed XXX Burgers. Burger master is ok but nothing special. Red Mill burgers are the best in my area.

XXX was the classic greasy-spoon diner

Burgermaster is definitely an improvement in food quality over XXX
