I didn't say they sounded bad, just different. That's why I emphasized that someone who really enjoys the sound of a turbo Eclipse motor with a big exhaust would probably find the sound of an original Ghibli V-8 boring. One comes from a time before emissions controls, or gas lines, or widespread adoption of fuel injection, and the other comes from the time when the acronym CAFE didn't refer to the place where autoworkers went for lunch.

Guys, I figured out why the M2 comp sounds different...it hasn't been milked recently. You can tell by the enormous swollen udder right before the tailpipes.

We can make sooo much money by developing/marketing a cool "Carbon Fiber Jock-Strap" to cover it.

Damn that muffler is comedic. Does it really need to be that big? Seems so unnecessary!

End of the day the N55 exhaust sounds manly and way way better.
The single turbo and single exhaust setup just sounds better.

The sound clips from just revving the engine are a bit misleading. The S55 actually sounded pretty good in comfort mode. It's under load when the S55 just has too much rasp for my taste.
