Offset clutch pedal RHD

Does anyone find the clutch pedal offset on the rhd manuals. This is the key reason for me going for the dct. Test drove the manual and I find twisting my leg to the right to depress the clutch pedal. I suspect that's not the case in LHD versions.
It's not major but I suspect would bug me after a while, really wanted the manual but the set up is not correct don't have the same problem in my Alfa gt.

All three pedals are off centre. It's the seat that is over too far into the cabin.... something, I'm told, to do with occupant safety. It bugs me but not enough to want a DCT

I wonder if it's the same for LHD versions. I thought it was the transmission tunnel that caused the pedal placement to be compromised.

Yup, it's the reason I traded my M235i UK RHS unacceptable for me.

Never had this issue on many of my previous cars which include vw, Alfa, 911 etc.
I think it may be more of a problem on RHD rwd cars as the transmission tunnel pushes the pedals to the right where on LHD versions it's primarily designed to be LHD.
I don't think Japanese rwd cars have this issue, again because they are designed to be RHD from the outset.
I think it's a compromised set up in RHD bmw models.

I've always found the pedal box compromised with BMW's,not only the offset but the space.I always ended up fouling the clutch with the dead pedal and brake, unlike something with loads of room with FWD such as VAG.

One of the reasons why I chose DCT.

You can high beam assist on it own. Visibility pack is high beam assist, dimming rear view mirror(included in base spec) and adaptive head lights.

I was not going to pay for it but my dealer made a mistake and my car was order with the visibility pack. I was sceptical at first, and pissed about the extra weight, but after my first night I was pleased with the outcome. It really helps reduce task loading when pushing on at night.

Where do you live, happy to let you see mine if it will help?

Yea. Should be able to.

I've got it on mine speced via factory.

TBH, it's not worth it.

Do the math on the service pack and it's not worth it, you will get an oil change in 2 years and then another one the following 2 years by then you would have probably sold it.. Save your money and get eibach spring and m performance steering wheel

Add to this the smoking pack. It's £25 and you'll have a place for your change. It's the one thing I wish I had. I'm in London too LLB manual. So we'll have to get a few of us together.

Just to clarify, what does the smoking pack add or delete ? I though you got cigarette lighters instead of plastic blanks that's it.

You do get lighters instead of the blanks but you also get an ash tray that has a cover that you can keep change in. If you don't order it you get a crappy tray that does nothing. Have a look at any of the american interior pics and they have the cover as part of the executive pack

Same..... Drove a 235 for 30mins, hated the offset pedals too. There was no way I was going to order without DCT.

Yeah just could not live with the offset pedals. Such a shame otherwise would have saved alot of money over the dct.
At least road tax is £355 instead of £500 ! and dct also better on motorway in 7th gear, less boomy as revs are lower.

Wonder if LHD versions have any such issues ? Maybe offset the other way or did bmw not bother to do a proper conversion ?!
